The Mohegan Tribe invites guests to visit the Tantaquidgeon Museum in celebration of its 90th anniversary.

WHAT: The Mohegan Tribe is hosting a 90th anniversary celebration of the Tantaquidgeon Museum, the oldest Indian-owned and operated museum in America.

WHEN/WHERE:

  • Saturday, November 6th
  • 10:00am – 3:00pm
  • Tantaquidgeon Museum
  • Parking will be located at Saint Bernard School and shuttle transportation will be available

IN DETAIL: The Tantaquidgeon Museum’s 90th anniversary celebration will take place from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The event is free and open to guests of all ages. Crafts, tours of the museum, Mohegan demonstrations, and refreshments will be available.

Parking will be located at Saint Bernard School off Route 32 in Montville, and shuttle buses will transport guests to and from the event.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, face masks will be required in any enclosed setting, including the museum and buses. Unvaccinated guests are strongly encouraged to wear a mask even outdoors.

In case of inclement weather, there will be a rain date of November 13.
