Protective Services

The Mohegan Tribe's Protective Services personnel work in a variety of roles including protection inside and outside the Mohegan Tribal Government building.

About

The Mohegan Tribe maintains an around-the-clock Protective Services Department. Created in March of 2000, the department has nearly 50 employees including officers, specialists, supervisors, and above. The department has officers inside and outside who patrol the reservation, operate casino access points, and provide security for Tribal buildings. Patrol vehicles and bikes are just some of the equipment used by the team surveying the reservation, including Mohegan Sun.

The department's goal is to utilize our security expertise to prevent and respond to threats against the Mohegan Tribe's government bodies and protect government facilities, employees, property, information, operations, and our visitors.

Protective Services personnel work in a variety of roles including protection inside and outside the Mohegan Tribal Government building, as well as assisting the Mohegan Tribal Police Department for the common goal of keeping Tribal land safe and protected.
