Everyone is invited to join Native Americans from across the country in a family-friendly day of traditional Native American crafts, foods, and dance competitions. The event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!

Each year, the Mohegan Tribe celebrates its culture with Native American dancers, artisans, and families from across the country travel to participate in this family-friendly celebration of cultural traditions, heritage, and community. The two-day event features traditional Native American crafts, foods, and dance competitions, all set in a historic and welcoming outdoor setting.

The Wigwam Festival is located at Fort Shantok, rain or shine. Parking is free and located off-site. Parking is at Saint Bernard School, and shuttles will run throughout the day each day. There will also be a pick-up/drop-off location at Mohegan Sun’s hotel lobby for hotel guests. No dogs, alcohol, or drugs allowed. Not responsible for accidents, damages, or lost and stolen property.
