About Tom

Tom Feige inspires his students to be leaders, to ask questions, and to think scientifically.  Tom teaches at Region 16’s Woodland Regional High School in Beacon Falls. He has had the amazing opportunity to teach Biology and Forensic Science and share his passion. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. Then, he went on to Southern Connecticut State University to earn a Masters of Science degree in Science Education and a Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership.

Tom feels one of the most significant contributions he can make is his ability to understand the needs of his students, connect with them, and engage them in a lesson. Dreams start in classrooms and Tom believes that teaching gives him the amazing opportunity to have such a profound impact on the next generation. He strives to be someone who motivates students to be successful and hopefully be a bright spot in their day. Tom hopes that when students walk across the stage at graduation they know he treated them fairly, respected them, and wanted to see them succeed more than anything.
