About Holly

Holly is a passionate and dedicated educator with 20 years of experience in Bristol Public Schools.  During her tenure in the district, she has become a Wilson Dyslexia practitioner, is the SRBI coordinator in her building, is a TEAM mentor, and tutors students after school.

Holly completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Central Connecticut State University.  She is currently pursuing her 092 in administration for her 6th-year degree from Central Connecticut State University.  She sees the value in continued education for the benefit of herself and her students.  Holly is known for her creative teaching methods, ability to connect with students, and nurturing manner.

Holly believes that every student can learn at high levels when provided with a safe environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic learning.  Her classroom is filled with calming decor, interactive learning centers, flexible seating, sensory materials to promote social, and emotional learning, and tactile learning tools to support academic learning.

Feeling fortunate as a teacher is an understatement because the daily joy it brings is immeasurable.  Shaping the lives of students from their earliest years and watching them grow and evolve is the best gift Holly could ever receive.  She doesn’t feel teaching is a job as she was meant to do it.  It is more of a calling for her to teach, love, and inspire each day.
