About Theodore
Theodore Jones III is committed to shaping young minds at Berlin High School. He is also a professor at Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Business.
As a graduate of Hampton University (B.S.), Fordham University (J.D.), Creighton University (M.S. APM), and Christian Theological Seminary (M.Div.), his diverse educational background reflects a lifetime commitment to learning. He began his professional journey at People’s Bank, then had a successful run as an independent lawyer and wealth manager.
While practicing law, Jones developed a passion for coaching football and decided to pursue a career in education via the Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) program in 2020.
Jones values an authentic approach to education, focusing on adaptability and critical thinking to approach problems with a “multiplistic” mindset. Extracurricularly, Jones advises the Mock Trial Team—helping students apply their skills in competitive and collaborative settings.
Residing in Bridgeport with his wife of 20 years and two children, he is also a minister at First Baptist Church Milford, a life member and chaplain of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a board member for American Baptist Churches of Connecticut and a cadet character development instructor in the Civil Air Patrol.
