About Quentin

Quentin McDougald is a passionate educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate who has spent nearly two decades empowering students and uplifting his community through innovation, equity, and leadership. A Computer Technology Education (CTE) teacher at Slade Middle School in New Britain, CT, McDougald was named District Teacher of the Year in 2024, becoming the first African American man in the district’s history to receive the honor. 

He has been recognized for his excellence in education by his school, the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, and Code.org®, a global nonprofit that supports computer science education for all students, especially those from underrepresented groups. 

Beyond the classroom, McDougald is the founder of Nothing But Web, LLC, a web design and business consulting company, and the creator of the Nothing But Web Entrepreneur Network, which supports hundreds of entrepreneurs nationwide. He was honored as a 2025 100 Men of Color recipient and recognized by the City of New Britain as one of the Nine Most Influential African-Americans in 2023. 

In addition to his work in education and entrepreneurship, McDougald proudly serves as Vice President of Business Operations for the Bloomfield Jr Warhawks Football and Cheer Organization, where he helps shape the next generation of youth leaders through sports and mentorship.
