Chairwoman Malerba honored by Global Gaming Business Magazine
The Mohegan Tribe’s Chairwoman Lynn Malerba has been honored by Global Gaming Business Magazine, named as one of “25 People to Watch” in the January 2010 issue. The list of 25 top leaders in the tribal and commercial gaming worlds was chosen by an editorial advisory board and an assortment of gaming industry experts. The magazine stated “this year’s group will undoubtedly make a huge impact on where gaming is going and how it will be perceived for many years to come.”
In speaking with reporter Marjorie Preston, Chairwoman Malerba noted the considerable financial challenges facing her in her new role, but noted “We are still an economic engine in Connecticut….we will be responsible to the next generation, and the generation after that, over 13 generations.”
